Patiala, August 22 - 'Career Guidance cum Motivational Seminar' was organized by the Computer Science Department of Punjabi University. Dr Sourav Jain, Director of Vardhaman Career Place participated as the keynote speaker on this occasion. Dr. Sourav Jain spoke about career guidance and gave information about the opportunities available in the education system and the strategies needed to prepare for competitive exams.
 He also explained to the students the point of the four 'P' formula of setting their goals, in which information was given about potential, plan, preparation and preservation. Head of Department Dr. Himanshu Aggarwal said that the aim of this seminar was to help the students to understand the career options so that they can benefit in life. He told about conducting more such programs in the future.
 He said that career guidance can help students understand their strengths, weaknesses, and interests and provide them with a clear picture of the career paths available to them.
Dr. Sikandar Singh Cheema delivered the welcome speech as the convener of this program.
