Creative competitions held for collegiate school students

Mahilpur, December 7: In order to promote the creative interests of the students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate School running in the campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here; the college management organised creative competitions for the students of class XI and XII.

Mahilpur, December 7: In order to promote the creative interests of the students of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa Collegiate School running in the campus of Sri Guru Gobind Singh Khalsa College Mahilpur here; the college management organised creative competitions for the students of class XI and XII.
The theme of these competitions was to make the youth aware of diseases like AIDS and the increasing prevalence of drug addiction. On this occasion, Principal Dr. Parvinder Singh said that every student has some creative interest and by participating in such competitions, he becomes more successful in his academic education. In these, Harmanpreet Kaur, a student of class 12 commerce stream, got first place in poster making competition, Jasmine Kaur, a student of class 11 arts stream, got second place and Radhika, a student of class 12 commerce stream, got third place.
In the model making competition, the team of Jaskaran Singh and Mahir Verma (12th Science) secured first position, the team of Tanish (12th Science) secured second position and the team of Aarti Chaudhary, Surdeep Kaur and Sehajpreet (12th Science) secured third position.
Dr Vikrant Rana, Dr JB Sekhon, Dr Varinder Azad and Prof Anil Kalsi, Prof Rohit Puri acted as judges on the occasion. Staff present on the occasion included Prof Jasdeep Kaur, Prof Kamalpreet Kaur, Prof Ashok Kumar, Prof Ganesh, Prof Harpreet Kaur, Prof Rajinder Kaur and Prof Rajbir Kaur along with students of Collegiate School.
