The entire district is getting the benefit of CM's Yogashala: Deputy Commissioner

Hoshiarpur: Deputy Commissioner Komal Mittal said that under CM's Yogashala, about 267 yoga classes are being run by 48 trainers in the district. In which about 9 thousand people are practicing yoga daily. He said that all 10 blocks of the district have been covered under CM's Yogashala project. And there is a huge enthusiasm among the people towards yoga.

The Deputy Commissioner said that CM's Yogashala is an initiative of the Punjab government to provide free yoga education to the citizens of the state. Under this scheme, a team of certified yoga teachers has been formed in Punjab. So that yoga can be taken to every home and it can be turned into a people's movement by providing the facility of yoga teachers to the people.
Its objective is to highlight the importance of meditation and yoga to improve the physical and mental health of the citizens. As an ancient practice, yoga has proven to be an effective tool to improve the quality of one's life. With daily practice, a person can develop concentration and become more in tune with his environment.
He said that this scheme was launched in the state in April last year under the leadership of Chief Minister Punjab Bhagwant Singh Mann. Under which different districts of the state have been included in different studies.
Madhvi Singh, District Coordinator of CM's Yogashala, said that under the leadership of State Advisors Amresh Jha and Kamlesh Mishra, more and more people are being connected with yoga in all the blocks of the district. He said that through CM's Yogashala, free yoga education is being given to people at places of their choice like parks, public places.
Madhvi Singh said that if a person has a place available for a yoga class and there is a group of at least 25 people, then the Punjab government will send trained yoga instructors to every house. If they want, people can register for themselves or for a single person.
