But that was not true for many who woke up to the sounds of heavy firing and grenade explosions in the Nagrota cantonment on the morning of November 29, 2016. It was that fateful morning when three suicide bombers entered the heavily guarded military area with the help of some locals; and wreaked havoc that claimed seven precious lives of our brave soldiers.
The terrorists were armed with weapons, ammunition and food that could last them for a week and had come with a nefarious plan to create a hostage-like situation in the cantonment. While they were knocking on the doors of families living in that area, the Indian Army was leaving no stone unturned in apprehending them. The Army, including paramilitary forces, equipped with the best skills and training, nabbed them all and thwarted the dangerous situation of our people being held hostage. 'Nagrota Under Siege' will be available nationwide this December.
