Saroya: Social worker Chaudhary Mahendra Pal Bhumbla, former Sarpanch of village Mangupur, made a special effort and with the support of all the residents and the Gram Panchayat, a free eye medical check-up camp was organized at Government Primary Middle School Mangupur with the help of specialist doctors from Tricity Hospital Sunny Enclave Mohali. In this camp, a team led by Dr. Mohit P Gupta, an eye specialist, conducted a medical examination of about 170 patients.
Which was inaugurated by Chaudhary Mahendra Pal Bhumbla with the support of all the elderly residents of the town. On this occasion, he said that eye donation is the best donation. Therefore, we should definitely continue to do such work in the society. On this occasion, he said that free glasses and medicines were also provided to the needy patients. He said that out of these patients, 40 patients have been selected for surgery. Whose operations will be done at Tricity Hospital Mohali.
