Una, October 22 - Employees are the backbone of the government and administration and they play an important role in implementing government programs, welfare schemes and policies on the ground. Deputy Commissioner Jatil Lal said this while presiding over the meeting of the joint advisory committee of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation District Una at Bachat Bhawan Una on Tuesday. About 30 demands related to various departments were discussed in the meeting.

Deputy Commissioner Jatil Lal said this while presiding over the meeting of the joint advisory committee of Himachal Pradesh Non-Gazetted Employees Federation District Una at Bachat Bhawan Una on Tuesday. About 30 demands related to various departments were discussed in the meeting.
The Deputy Commissioner called upon all the employees to work for the welfare of all sections of the society with full transparency, dedication, promptness, honesty and experience and said that whatever facilities are required by the administration for the employees will be provided. He said that the officers and employees should work in mutual coordination, so that development can get a new direction and the administrative work system can get more speed. He clarified that whatever demands the employee leaders have raised at the district level are logical. Therefore, their concerned department should ensure quick solution and there is no need to raise these matters again in the upcoming meetings. While assuring to send the state level problems of the employees soon for their solution.
On the demand of the Federation to provide security to the doctors and paramedical staff during night duty, the Deputy Commissioner said that security guards have already been deployed 24 hours a day in hospitals of the district having 100 beds or more capacity and the matter for security at other medical institutions is pending with the State Government. Till then, police patrolling should be ensured in the medical institutions of the district at night.
On the issue raised regarding the repair of government houses, the Deputy Commissioner said that most of the houses located in Rakkad Colony have been repaired, while the remaining government houses which are to be repaired, should be allotted only after the repair. Apart from this, land has been selected for the revenue colony and the department should complete other formalities for its construction soon and send it so that the matter can be presented before the government for budget provision. While 5 kanal land has been allotted to the NGO Vishram Bhawan, on which the work of boundary wall has also been done. He directed the Public Works Department to prepare an expenditure estimate for its building so that the matter can be taken forward. He said that action will be taken against those shopkeepers and street vendors who will not display their rate list.

Officers should personally attend the JCC meeting
The Deputy Commissioner took strong note of the fact that the officers of some departments did not attend the meeting themselves but sent their representatives to the meeting and said that the problems and demands of the employees are discussed in this meeting, so all the officers should ensure their presence in such meetings. He also assured that the matter of filling the vacant posts in various departments will be raised with the government.
On this occasion, President of District Non-Gazetted Employees Federation, Rajneesh Sharma welcomed Deputy Commissioner Jatil Lal and thanked him for his promptness, personal interest and positive cooperation in resolving various problems and demands of the employees.
Assistant Commissioner Varinder Kumar, Una SDM Vishwamohan Dev Chauhan and Bangana SDM Sonu Goyal, DSP Ajay Thakur, CMO Dr. Rajiv and officers of various departments including District Non-Gazetted Employees Federation General Secretary Rajesh Kumar, former President Ramesh Thakur, Senior Vice President Tara Singh along with employee representatives and other employee leaders from all the development blocks including District Una were also present in the meeting.
