Addressing the meeting, National Senior Vice President of All India Jat Mahasabha and Punjab President Harpal Singh Harpura said that three months ago all the units including the main units of Punjab were dissolved. Appointments have started again from today. Everyone willing to work for the Jat community will be given the responsibility. Every Jat is a member of the All India Jat Mahasabha. He said that the All India Jat Mahasabha has no connection with any political party. One may be personally associated with any party.
He said that we are with the demands of the farmers-labourers and All India Jat Mahasabha is standing shoulder to shoulder in every struggle they do. He said that it is highly condemnable for the BJP to prevent farmers from going to Delhi by putting nails on the roads and putting up huge barricades. Haryana Police entered the border of Punjab and fired tear gas shells from drones, came inside the Punjab border and lathi-charged the farmers, shot at the farmers, the young martyr Shubkaran was martyred. Despite all this, the silence of the Aam Aadmi Party government in Punjab is a conspiracy.
Many farmers who were martyred in Unna Kisan Andolan were given jobs during the previous government. But the work of giving jobs to the family members of around 123 martyred farmers remained. But it has been more than two years since AAP came to power in Punjab. But not a single martyred farmer's family was given a job.
He demanded the Punjab government to immediately give jobs to the family members of the martyred farmers and said that the Punjab Jat Social Welfare Board should be formed so that the problems of the Jat community can be solved properly.
