Mahilpur, August 4- The Teej festival was celebrated in village Tajewal with joy and enthusiasm with the support of all the residents. Giving information in this regard, Sarpanch Daljit Kaur said that Dr. Raj Kumar Chabbewal Member of Parliament was specially present at the event. 
On this occasion, he said that Teej is a symbol of our ancient culture. In which our girls and daughters-in-law celebrate this festival together and share happiness. On this occasion, the girls, children and daughters-in-law of the village expressed their happiness by presenting songs, skits and choreographies depicting Punjabi culture. 
On this occasion, Sant Pawan Kumar Tajewal, Inderjit Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Gurpreet Kaur, Sandesh Rani, Sandeep Kaur, Ritu, Tamanna, Raman, Sania, Priyanka, Simran, Reet, Manvi, Deepika, Pooja, Renu Baksho, Manasi, Vidya, Amandeep, Loveleen, Seema, Rani, Anjali, Manat, Manisha, Sarabjit Kaur, Trisha, Alisha, Baljit Kaur, Rupinder Singh, Sucha Singh, Sohan Singh, Preet, Santosh Kumari, Rajwinder Kaur, Jamna, Ninder, Preet, Pallavi, Sanjala Rani, Mukesh Rani, Amarjit Kaur, Krishna Devi, Tania, Rehmat, Meena, Ekam, Poonam, Mihar, Kirti, Simu, Bhawna, Sonia, Kirna, Amrit Kaur, Jaswinder Kaur, Neetu, Tamanna, Bless, Rehmat, Kashish along with women and children of the village were present. 
On this occasion, a langar of tea, pakoras, mahal-pura and kheer was served. At the end of the function, Sarpanch Mrs. Daljit Kaur and Sant Pawan Kumar Tajewal thanked all the residents and friends from outside who participated in the function.
