Amritsar- During the ongoing annual Yatra of Sri Hemkunt Sahib, about 2.28 lakh devotees have visited this year so far and this annual Yatra will continue till October 10. After this, the gates of the Guru Ghar will be closed for the Sangat till the next Yatra.
Shri Hemkunt Sahib Managing Trust Chairman Narinder Jeet Singh Bindra said that the holy Yatra of Sri Hemkunt Sahib is continuing with full enthusiasm and devotion. So far this year, more than 2,28,000 devotees have visited this holy pilgrimage site located in the lap of Garhwal Himalayas. One of the important pilgrimage sites of Sikhism, Sri Hemkunt Sahib is world famous for its spirituality and natural beauty.
He said that the favorable weather this year has made the Yatra even easier. Due to normal rainfall and well-managed route management, the mountain route from Rishikesh to Gobind Ghat has continued to be safe and smooth. Such debris that fell due to minor landslides in the hilly areas was immediately removed, ensuring the safety and convenience of the pilgrims.
Chairman of the Managing Trust Bindra has appealed to the pilgrims to take advantage of this favorable weather and plan their journey as soon as possible. This is a golden opportunity to experience the sanctity of Sri Hemkunt Sahib and the peace of the Himalayas. He said that the journey will conclude on October 10.
