Senior Deputy Mayor Jasvir Singh Bunty and Himachal Mahasabha Chandigarh felicitated talented players who have brought laurels to India.

Chandigarh- Himachal Mahasabha Chandigarh and Senior Deputy Mayor Jasvir Singh Bunty felicitated Ansh Sharma from Una district of Himachal, who represented India at international level and brought laurels to not only India but also Himachal and Chandigarh by winning gold medal in Under-19 men's rink hockey competition in South Korea.

Chandigarh- Himachal Mahasabha Chandigarh and Senior Deputy Mayor Jasvir Singh Bunty felicitated Ansh Sharma from Una district of Himachal, who represented India at international level and brought laurels to not only India but also Himachal and Chandigarh by winning gold medal in Under-19 men's rink hockey competition in South Korea.
Along with this, promising daughter Navroop Kaur belonging to a very ordinary family, who recently brought laurels to the country by winning bronze medal in Judo competition in Asian Games held in Macau, South Korea.
Prithi Singh Prajapati made both the winners wear Himachali cap, the pride of Himachal and Senior Mayor Jasvir Singh Bunty honoured them by presenting shawl. The Chairman said that despite difficult circumstances, the players won the tough competition on their own and brought pride to the country. They deserve congratulations for that and we are proud of them.
At the same time, the Senior Deputy Mayor congratulated the parents of the players for the bravery shown by them.
