
The annual Jor Mela of Lakh Data Sakhi Sarwar Darbar was celebrated with great pomp.
Nawanshahr- The annual Jor Mela was celebrated with great pomp at Lakh Data Sakhi Sarwar Darbar in the nearby village Bheen with the cooperation of the entire congregation. On this occasion, the throne holder Baba Madan Shah said that on the first day of the fair, the ritual of Dhuna was performed and in the evening the ritual of Mehndi and lighting of the Jyoti was done and on the second day of the fair, after the ritual of hoisting the flag, a camp was organized for free eye checkup by Mandeep Eye Care Garhshankar and free medicines and spectacles were given to the needy patients.

Famous artists of Punjab presented their religious programs in which singer Mahesh Sajan made the audience dance in joy by singing Walo Sada Ki Ae Fakran Da, Asi Fan Paunahaari De, Sadi Power Paunahaari and later Harman German sang Ali De Malang Nachde, Jogi De Naam Da Rang and Muskan Chopra sang Nit Khair Manga Sohniya, Jogi Ne Tar Ditta Veer, Sada Te Rabb Tu Sajna and sought blessings of the Fakirs and later a Naqli program was presented in which saints and Fakirs from various Deras participated to bless the devotees.
Among them were Baba Rajesh Das, Baba Baldev Saini, Baba Kulveer, Baba Tarsem Chumber, Kukku Bhagat, Baba Puran, Baba Sukhdev Singh, Baba Gurjant, Baba Madan Shah, Reena Deva, Baba Joga, Baba Billu, Satnam Singh Kamal Sindhu, Baba Pramod, village sarpanch Jovan Singh, former MLA Angad Singh Saini. On this occasion, social worker Raj Kumar Sabharwal along with Nirmal Nimma, Jai Pal, Gurmeet Singh, Raman Kumar, Jinder and all other sevadars were present. Langar was served in abundance to Kumar, Galjit England, Dino England etc.
