Garhshankar, June 30- Children are becoming victims of monkey terror in some villages of Garhshankar area. In the last two days, monkeys attacked three children in Khanpur, Shahpur village and seriously injured them.
Members of the affected families who reached the Government Hospital Garhshankar for treatment late in the evening said that when their children play in the streets of the village, monkeys suddenly attack the children and injure them. It is worth mentioning that some time ago in village Pandori also monkeys had attacked children and adults in a similar way.
If we talk about villages Sekhowal, Haibowal and Sihawan, then there is a continuous terror of monkeys here and common people have to face the terror of monkeys in their daily life. Common people demand that the forest department should look into this matter and take appropriate steps to provide relief to the common people.
