Garhshankar- Adarsh Social Welfare Society Punjab organized an awareness program against drugs at Government Senior Secondary Smart School POSI under the leadership of Founder President Satish Kumar Soni.
In which Principal Jagdish Rai, Chief Spokesperson Punjab, Dr. Harikrishnan Banga, General Secretary Punjab, Bahadur Chand Arora, District President Nawanshahr, Jaspreet Bajwa, Vice President, Gurjit Singh, Surinder Sharma, Dr. Malkit Kaur Jandi, Vasdev Pardesi, District Press Secretary Nawanshahr, Seema Rani, District Secretary, Jaspreet Kaur, District President Hoshiarpur, Kamal Dev, Vice President District, Harpreet Singh, Block President Garhshankar, Santokh Singh, Joint Secretary Block, Satnam Singh, Bangar, Chairman Block etc. participated in a grand manner. On this occasion, the main speaker Punjab Principal Jagdish Rai said that listening and applying it practically are the qualities of a good student. With this, we can easily get out of even the most difficult situation. Dr. Harikrishnan Banga said that to control drugs, we will have to play our role to make the environment around us clean with a firm determination. President of Adarsh Society Satish Kumar Soni said that we will have to follow our rights along with our duties, with the rule of live and let live, the difficult moments of life can be spent. Baljinder Singh Navi said that the change in the present and old childhood has played a major role in the transformation of society.
Volunteer from the Health Department Sardar Parminder Singh said that drugs are a fatal disease, which makes a person mentally retarded. It has become very important to control this as soon as possible. School Incharge Sukhdev Singh, while praising this initiative taken by Adarsh Social Welfare Society, said that the difference between government words and deeds has turned the society in the wrong direction. Due to which humanity has slipped towards decline. Master Sundar Maniam ji played the role of stage management well and guided the children to become good citizens through his ideas.
District President Jaspreet Kaur thanked the school staff and the wise colleagues of the Adarsh Social Welfare Society family and the press community for their cooperation in conducting the anti-drug awareness program in a smooth manner. After the program, the supportive gentlemen who came were also honored with a badge of honor. Refreshments for the children were served by eminent social worker Rajiv Kanda Roramjara.
