Prime Minister Shri Narendra Modi today, in the 123rd episode of his Mann Di Baat program, while describing the success of Operation Sindoor, gave a message to the nation to be conscious about nature and environment by planting saplings in the youth's camp.
Plant maximum saplings during Van Mahotsav - Rao Narbir
Rao Narbir Singh appealed to the people of Haryana to plant maximum saplings in the memory of the brave soldiers of the state on the occasion of the upcoming Van Mahotsav. He himself has started the campaign 'One Tree in the Name of Mother'-2' from Charkhi Dadri and has appealed to the people to join this campaign.
Environmental protection is now a demand of the border
Minister Rao Narbir said that along with military welfare, he also has the responsibility of the Forest and Environment Department. In this capacity, it is his responsibility to convey the message of natural balance given by the Prime Minister to the people.
He said that due to climate change, environmental imbalance has become a global concern and such a relationship with nature will have to be strengthened again. In this direction, a plan has been made to plant a trinity of trees like Neem, Peepal and Bard on the banks of ponds, rivers and public places under the 'One Tree in the Name of Mother' campaign.
Target of 2 lakh plants in every district, conservation for 5 years
The Forest Minister said that a target has been set to plant 2 lakh plants every year in every district and it will be ensured that all the plants are conserved for at least 5 years, so that they can take root and a sustainable forest estate will be built.
