Addressing the program, SP Amit Yadav said that the purpose of such programs is to make the youth and society aware of the ill effects of drugs and to motivate them to lead a normal life again. He said that drug addiction not only affects a person physically and mentally, but also makes him socially weak.
The SP appealed to the youth to stay away from drugs themselves and also make their friends aware of its fatal effects. He gave a message to the youth undergoing treatment to move forward in life with confidence and said that even if someone has fallen prey to drugs, there is no need to panic. Considering it as a challenge and overcoming it can be completely possible and inspiring.
