Punjab Government equips Government Schools with state-of-the-art facilities: Deputy Speaker.

Hoshiarpur- With the objective of saving the valuable time of students studying in government schools and providing them better educational environment, the Punjab Government under the leadership of Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann has started equipping the schools with modern facilities. This information was given by Deputy Speaker of Punjab Assembly Jai Krishna Singh Raudi while inaugurating development works worth Rs 23.50 lakh in four government schools of Garhshankar Assembly constituency.

The Deputy Speaker inaugurated works like new science lab in Government Senior Secondary School Fatehpur Khurd, renovation of school building in Government Primary School Akalgarh, construction of boundary wall of Primary School Amman Magat and Raipur Gujran.
On this occasion, he said that in the last three years, the Punjab Government has taken many revolutionary steps from recruitment of teachers to construction of infrastructure in government schools. Under this commitment, development work will continue in government schools in future also.
The Deputy Speaker said that Punjab is the first state in the country where campus managers and security guards have been appointed in schools, which is a clear example of the government's serious thinking towards schools. Apart from the village panchayats, officials of the education department were also present on this occasion.
