
Punjab Sikhya Kranti ; A Major Boost to Government School Infra- MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa
Derabassi (SAS Nagar), April 22, 2025: MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa dedicated infra upgrades worth Rs 94.94 lakh in four schools of Derabassi Constituency, today, to the students of these schools. He said the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann will not leave any stone unturned to make the state run schools at par with private ones.
Derabassi (SAS Nagar), April 22, 2025: MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa dedicated infra upgrades worth Rs 94.94 lakh in four schools of Derabassi Constituency, today, to the students of these schools. He said the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann will not leave any stone unturned to make the state run schools at par with private ones.
The Schools where the upgraded infrastructure was inaugurated by the MLA Randhawa included; two new Class rooms and a Play Ground constructed at a cost of Rs 16.62 lakh at Government Primary School, Haibatpur, Two Smart Class rooms came up at a cost of Rs 15.02 lakh at Government Primary School, Kheri, Two Class rooms, Play Ground and other development works at a cost of Rs 21.40 lakh at Government Primary School, Pandwala besides, Five Class Rooms and other development works at a cost of Rs 41.90 lakh at Government Senior Secondary School, Pandwala.
While interacting with the students of these schools, MLA Randhawa assured them of fulfilling all the requirements for a better environment they need. He said these students are the future of state and Nation, wishing them to excel in every field, he said that it is our prime duty towards these students to get all the facilities in Government Schools at par with Private ones.
He said that Punjab Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann and Education Minster S. Harjot Singh Bains have been walking extra mile to transform the state run schools for setting up a student friendly environment including best class rooms, laboratories, basic amenities like toilets and drinking water. He said that the propaganda being run by the opposition by targeting the Punjab Sikhya Kranti is politically motivated, rather they should visit the schools and appreciate the efforts of Bhagwant Singh Mann Government.
The inaugural ceremony witnessed the presence of students, teachers and local Panch-Sarpanches.
