Hisar: As per the directions of Superintendent of Police Hansi Amit Yashvardhan, a football competition was organized by Hansi Police in village Sultanpur under the drug de-addiction campaign. The purpose of this event is to motivate the youth towards sports and keep them away from social evils like drug addiction.

In-charge of Hansi Police Drug De-addiction Team, Deputy Inspector Ramfal said that teams from Dhanderi, Ramayan, Depal, Umra, Sultanpur and Ladwa participated in this competition. Teams from village Dhanderi and Sultanpur participated in the Kho-Kho competition.
The final match in the football competition was held between the teams of village Depal and Sultanpur. In a very exciting match, the team of Sultanpur won the title by 8-7.

During the competition, District Inspector Narendrapal made the villagers, youth and players aware of the ill effects of drugs, traffic rules and road safety. Minors were encouraged not to drive vehicles. People were encouraged to give information against drug sellers.
In the end, all the youth took an oath to remain aware against drugs and to make the society aware. At the end of the competition, the winning team was honored by Hansi Police by giving attractive prizes and all the players were also provided refreshments.
