Joy Baidwan wins first all-India position in Under-18 shot put at National Youth Games

SAS Nagar, March 12- Joy Baidwan, a resident of village Mataur in Mohali, has won first all-India position in Under-18 shot put (shot put) at the Youth Games held in Patna Sahib from March 10 to 12. Joy Baidwan is the daughter of Paramdeep Singh Baidwan, State Secretary of Kisan Union Rajewal and had also won first all-India position in Under-14 Tamil Nadu in 2023. Last year (in 2024), Joy Baidwan had won a silver medal in the shot put competition in the Under-16 category at Lucknow. Joy Baidwan is a student of 9th standard of KV School, Mohali.

They said that Joy Baidwan has brought glory to the entire Punjab by winning the gold medal.
