This idea was expressed by Amarjit Singh Kalsi, the son of State Awardee Teacher and Coach Jagdish Singh of village Halluwal, district Hoshiarpur, residing in America, while addressing a seminar at Karumbalan Bhawan, Mahilpur. He further said that the main objective of Prime TV USA is to make the rich heritage of Punjab reach the new generation.

Special programs are being prepared to present the artistic activities of children. For which, eminent writers and artists from Punjab are being associated with this channel. Discussions, interviews and documentary films are also presented of those who have made good strides in social, literary, cultural and educational fields with courage and determination. Very soon this channel will be seen in different countries of the world.
Welcoming Amarjit Singh Kalsi, who was the chief guest at the seminar on the topic 'Immigrant Media and Punjabi Culture' organized by Sur Sangam Educational Trust Mahilpur under the leadership of Prin. Manjit Kaur, Shiromani Punjabi Children's Literature writer Baljinder Mann said that the Punjabi community is very proud of its son who has made excellent strides in the field of media in a country like America. He is not only a technical expert, but also a producer and director with deep knowledge of media.
Technical experts Jasvir Singh Jassi, Bagga Singh Artist, Chanchal Singh Bains and Jeevan Lal Sharma, who were part of the presidium, praised the achievements of this young man and wished him success in his career. He further said that Punjabi media should not turn away from its rich heritage. Only if Punjabi language remains safe can Punjabis survive. He expressed concern that Punjabi is disappearing from Punjab and expatriate Punjabis are making all-out efforts to save it.
Sukhman Singh, associated with the media, expressed his views and said that we should all fulfill our respective responsibilities honestly. If the media continues to fulfill its responsibility with full dedication, then only Indian democracy can survive. On this occasion, Amarjit Singh Kalsi was specially honored and the guests present were presented with the book 'Kutiya Agam Sahib' written by Bagga Singh Artist.
