
Deputy Mayor Kuljit Singh Bedi honours Joy Baidwan
SAS Nagar, March 12- Joy Baidwan, the talented daughter of Mohali farmer leader Paramdeep Baidwan, arrived in Mohali after winning a gold medal in the Under-18 Youth Games in India in shot put. Deputy Mayor of Mohali Municipal Corporation Kuljit Singh Bedi honoured Joy Baidwan.

He said that Joy Baidwan has brought glory to Mohali as well as Punjab and the entire country. He said that today daughters are coming forward in every field and especially in sports, our girls have made great strides. He said that this achievement of Joy Baidwan will also inspire other children towards sports. Praising Joy Baidwan's father Paramdeep Singh Baidwan, he said that he has been working hard day and night to make his daughter a champion. He also honored the coach of the champion athlete, Swaran Singh, who has produced many national and international level players in Mohali. On this occasion, Malkiat Singh, President Athletic Association Mohali, Paramjit Singh, Amarjit Singh, Mandeep Kaur, Surjit Singh Mataur, Ramanjit Singh Lidhar, Rajan Puri were present.
