
MLA inaugurates construction work of Beri Wale Chowk in Mohalla Kamalpur, Ward No. 43
Hoshiarpur- MLA Brahm Shankar Jimpa formally inaugurated the construction work of Beri Wale Chowk at Mohalla Kamalpur, Ward No. 43 at a cost of Rs 17.50 lakh. This Chowk has deep religious significance in the constituency and it has been the center of many religious events.

On this occasion, MLA Jimpa said that in the last two and a half years, development works worth Rs 35 crore have been completed in Municipal Corporation Hoshiarpur. The aim of these projects is to provide modern facilities to the city residents and promote the all-round development of the city. He said that the work of renovation of Hoshiarpur Tehsil Complex is going on at a fast pace.
Along with this, the work of laying sewerage pipeline is also going on in village Bajwara, which is an important step towards connecting better infrastructure to the rural constituency. As part of efforts to modernize the city, a new food street has been developed which will become a center of attraction for local residents and tourists. Apart from this, work is also being done at a fast pace on the dump free scheme. The MLA said that special attention is being paid to the beautification and cleanliness of the city. Therefore, the Municipal Corporation has purchased state-of-the-art cleaning machines so that the city can be made clean and beautiful. Many dignitaries including Mayor Surinder Kumar, Senior Deputy Mayor Praveen Saini, Deputy Mayor Ranjit Chaudhary and councilors Asha Dutta, Amarjit Sharma, Vinay Khanna and Harmanjit Singh Walia were present on this occasion.
