SAS Nagar, April 8: Residents are upset due to poor sanitation in Phase 2. There are heaps of dry leaves on the roads and parks of the phase. Residents say that several complaints have been made to the Municipal Corporation in this regard, but despite this they are not being removed.
Meanwhile, residents said that despite complaining to the MC of the ward, no solution to this problem is being found, due to which disappointment is spreading among the residents. In this regard, the employees of the Municipal Corporation make the excuse that these leaves are not being removed due to lack of trolleys.
Local residents say that there are heaps of leaves everywhere and when there is strong wind, the leaves scatter around the streets and houses, which further aggravates the problem.
Residents have demanded that these heaps of dry leaves lying in the streets and parks should be removed immediately. Along with this, necessary arrangements should be made for the maintenance of the sanitation system in future.
