Hoshiarpur- Sports Festival 2025 was organized at Panjab University's Regional Center Swami Sarwanand Giri Bajawara under the supervision of Director H.S. Bains. Which was inaugurated by International Cyclist Balraj Singh Chauhan. Addressing the players at this time, Chauhan said that nowadays the influence of drugs has increased a lot, we should avoid this symptom.
To stay healthy, one should participate in daily exercise and sports activities. He said that when children come to the university after studying from school and college, the mental pressure of studies increases on them. Sports make us physically as well as mentally healthy. Tug of war and arm wrestling competitions were organized during the sports festival.
Later, prizes were distributed to the winning students, the chief guest Balraj Singh Chauhan was honored with a memento and a plant. At this time, the in-charge of the fair Harkamalpreet Singh, Vinay Arora of the university campus, Savita Grover, Lieutenant, Rahul Jassal, Gurvinder Singh, Jatinder Jassal, Rahul Saini etc. were present.
