Nawanshahr 18 February - With the blessings of Swami Satyanand Maharaj and Gurujan, 42-day Akhand Nam Jap Mahayagya Purti and Holy Shri Amrit Bani Satsang was organized in the local Teacher Colony. Shri Ram Sharanam Sangat Managing Committee member Madhu Sehgal informed that first of all holy Shri Amrit Bani was recited and satsang was done.
Describing the importance of the Lord's name, Sadhak Mahesh said that Nam Jap is a simple and very easy means to go closer to the Lord. It opens the door to salvation and frees one from the bonds of birth and death. By chanting the Lord's name all sins are destroyed and the soul becomes pure and holy.
He said that we can make our life successful by chanting the Lord's name in this very birth. Sadhak Mahesh delighted the Sangat by singing the glory of the Lord with his bhajans. Shri Ram Sharanam Satsang Ghar Lal Chowk Nawanshahr also extended its full support in this event.
Finally the program concluded with Shanti Paath. On this occasion a large number of devotees from Nawanshahr and other cities of Punjab were present.
