During the checking, cameras, fire cylinders, first aid boxes etc. were checked in the school buses.
During the checking, appropriate action was taken against the school buses which were found to have defects under the traffic rules. The main message of this checking was to ensure the safety of school children by making the school bus drivers aware of the traffic rules. During the checking, the school bus drivers were instructed not to drive the school buses beyond the prescribed speed.
While checking the school buses, DSP Traffic while interacting with the school children told them that if the driver of your bus drives the school bus at over speed or on the wrong side, then you should inform the school principal or senior teachers about it so that no untoward incident occurs in future.
DSP Traffic finally told all the school bus drivers to wear their uniforms while driving the school bus, get the school buses checked from time to time, there must be a conductor or assistant in all school buses, the assistant should be given proper training to handle small children.
As per the rules, it is mandatory to have a first aid box and fire extinguisher in all school buses.
