SAS Nagar, October 6 - Association of Junior Engineers, Mandal Kharar staged dharna for the second day to cancel the FIR against JE Sompreet Singh.
On this occasion, the leaders said that in the past, a CHB employee died while working on the power line at village Ranimajra. The deceased employee, Kura Singh, had personally gone to fix the power supply of the tubewell connection of a custodian and no complaint was filed by the custodian on PSPCL's helpline, nor was any message received by JE Sompreet from the complaint system. was
The leaders said that the Saini Majra line was closed as a matter of safety by talking to JE on the phone. No safety was used nor was the line interpreted before Kura Singh worked on the line. Due to the back feeding supply, Kura Singh got electrocuted and fell down the pole. Some persons present at the spot abused the electricity employees who reached the spot instead of taking him to the hospital and under pressure from the police administration, an FIR has been registered against JE Sompreet.
The leaders demanded that an inquiry should be made into the matter as to how this accident happened to the deceased Kura Singh. The organization demanded that the FIR against JE Sompreet be cancelled. The deceased Kura Singh was an employee of Imperial Private Company and whatever legal action should be taken against this company.
