Nawanshahr, 1 February- The State Council of Educational Research and Training Punjab is conducting the National Means Cum Merit Scholarship Examination (NMMS) and Punjab State Proficiency Examination (PSTSE) for the session 2024-25 on 2 February 2025. In the state of Punjab, this examination is being conducted all over Punjab under the able guidance of SCERT Punjab Director Amarinder Kaur ji.
This examination is being conducted all over the state under the guidance of Assistant Director Seema Khera. On this occasion, State Nodal Officer Mr. Ashok Kumar informed that strong arrangements have been made for this examination in the state of Punjab and in these examinations, 47534 students studying in class VIII of the state are participating in the joint examination of NMMS and PSTSE.
A total of 155 examination centers have been set up all over Punjab for this examination. Similarly, 41190 students studying in class 10th are participating in the PSTSE examination. A total of 146 examination centers have been set up across Punjab for this examination. Strong rooms have been set up in every district for these examinations, in which question papers have been kept, where strong security arrangements have been made. The time for both these examinations will be from 10 am to 1 pm.
Flying squad duties have also been assigned by the District Education Officer to maintain vigilance during these examinations. Along with this, duties of DIET principals have also been assigned in each district to inspect the examination centers. After the examination is over, the sealed envelopes of the answer sheets will be sent to the SCERT office on the same day.
