Pensioners and employees participated in it with full enthusiasm. Although the achievements were less, but the morale remained high. Full pressure was maintained on the Punjab Government. Although the thinking of the government has not been sympathetic towards the employees and pensioners, but sooner or later the government will have to accept the demands. The decision of the Central Government to constitute the Eighth Pay Commission for 2026 is the result of pressure from the employees of the Central Government.
