Hoshiarpur- Former Cabinet Minister Sohan Singh Thandal and others led by the dignitaries of the area garlanded the statue of Baba Sahib and distributed laddus on the occasion of 134th birth anniversary of Bharat Ratna Dr. Bhim Rao Ambedkar in his native village Thandal today.
On this occasion, Ravinder Singh Thandal youth leader, Master Harbhajan Singh, Sanjeev Kumar Pachnangal, Avtar Singh President District Kisan Morcha, Numberdar Gurnam Singh, Jathedar Jarnail Singh Baro, Jaswinder Singh, Gurpreet Singh and others were present.
On this occasion, S. Thandal said that the vision of harmony, equality and social justice in the society by Baba Sahib Dr. Bhimrao Ambedkar and others is still relevant. By creating the Indian Constitution, he not only gave direction to the country but also worked to give rights to the weaker, Dalit and backward classes.
