Awareness Seminar on National Road Safety Month

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 30 January 2025: As per the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Pareek, SP Traffic HS Mann, under the leadership of DSP (Traffic) Karnail Singh, lady constable Khushpreet Kaur of Traffic Education Cell along with ASI Karamjit Singh Traffic Kharar ASI Rakesh Kumar, Head Constable Dilbag Singh, Principal Jasvir Singh and staff of Khalsa Senior Secondary School Kharar made teachers and students aware about National Road Safety Month (01 January to 31 January 2025).

Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, 30 January 2025: As per the directions of Senior Superintendent of Police Deepak Pareek, SP Traffic HS Mann, under the leadership of DSP (Traffic) Karnail Singh, lady constable Khushpreet Kaur of Traffic Education Cell along with ASI Karamjit Singh Traffic Kharar ASI Rakesh Kumar, Head Constable Dilbag Singh, Principal Jasvir Singh and staff of Khalsa Senior Secondary School Kharar made teachers and students aware about National Road Safety Month (01 January to 31 January 2025).
Keeping in mind the foggy days, information was given about applying reflector tape, not driving under the influence of alcohol, following traffic rules, not driving under the age of 18, getting compensation from Salesian Fund in case of accident with unknown vehicle, lane driving, not using pressure horn and environmental protection.
Information was given about installing high security number plates on vehicles, wearing helmets on two-wheelers, parking vehicles properly instead of parking them on the road, using indicators while turning left and right, not violating red lights, not driving under the influence of any intoxicant, not bursting crackers on Bullet motorcycles and not getting them modified.
All traffic rules were requested to be strictly followed so that road accidents can be reduced. Information was given about calling helpline numbers 112 and 181 for getting and giving assistance from the police, as well as calling 1930 for cyber crime.
