Balachaur- Under the Nutrition Campaign, community based programs were organized in villages Gahun, Uldani and Tosa of Balachaur Block and Saroya village of Saroya Block, in which nutritious food was given to children above the age of 6 months.
Giving this information, CDPO Balachaur Puran Pankaj Sharma said that under the Nutrition Campaign, community based programs are organized on 14th and 28th of every month at all the Anganwadi centers of the block, the main objective of which is to provide nutrition to pregnant women. Its purpose is to bring necessary improvement in the health and nutrition status of lactating mothers and children aged 0 to 6 years by creating awareness among them.
He appealed that the general public should participate in these activities and take maximum benefit. On this occasion, supervisors Paramjit Kaur, Neelam Kumari, Anjali, Harsh Bala and Amandeep Kaur Sahungra as well as Anganwadi workers were also present.
