Garhshankar- As per the call given by Sanyukt Kisan Morcha to hold tractor march at block, tehsil and district levels at the country level on January 26; Various farmer organizations of Tehsil Garhshankar took out a tractor march from Garhshankar to Saila Kalan for the important demands of the farmers.
Farmer leaders of Sanyukt Kisan Morcha Garhshankar Harmesh Singh Dhesi, Darshan Singh Mattu, Kulbhushan Mahindwani, Gurnek Bhajjal Kulwinder Chahal, Ramjidas Chauhan, Bibi Subhash Mattu while addressing the farmers at different places said that the Punjab government should reject the National Agricultural Policy Marketing Framework in the Vidhan Sabha session, the Central government should withdraw it and enact a law to guarantee MSP.
He said that if the central government and the Punjab government try to indirectly re-implement the black laws by implementing these drafts, then both the governments will face strong anger from the common people including the farmers.
