Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, January 23, 2025: Exercising powers conferred under Section 6 (1) (e) of the Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, Additional District Magistrate Viraj Shyamkaran Tidke has cancelled the license of Connect World Consultant firm.
The Additional District Magistrate informed that Connect World Consultant firm SCF. No. 82, Top Floor, Phase 11, Tehsil Mohali, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, owner Shri Amit Soni (Proprietor) son of Shri Mahinder Singh resident of House No. 417, Darpan City, Randhawa Road, Kharar, District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar was issued Travel Agency License No. 324/IC dated 22.07.2019. The validity of this license has expired on 21-07-2024.
Additional Deputy Commissioner informed that due to non-submission of monthly report by the licensee as per the Act/Rules and Advisory and non-renewal of license for advertisement/seminar organized by the firm and non-response/clarification to the notice and non-compliance of the sections of the license, the firm and the licensee, exercising the powers conferred under the provisions of Section 6(1)(E) of Punjab Travel Professional Regulation Act-2012, have cancelled the license number 324/IC dated 22.07.2019 issued to Connect World Consultant firm with immediate effect.
Furthermore, as per the Act/Rules, if in future any complaint etc. is received against the said company/firm/partnership or its licensees/directors/partners of the firm, then the said company/director/partner/licensee will be responsible for it in all respects and will also be responsible to compensate for the same.
