Chandigarh, August 4 - Vice President of Haryana State Child Development Council Mrs. Suman Saini said that national and international level players are being prepared in the soil of Haryana. There is no dearth of promising sports talents on this soil. To bring out the best in these talents, the state government is providing all sports facilities, due to which today Haryana players have won a shower of medals in every international game. Haryana is known for sports in the world.
Vice President Suman Saini was speaking at the sports equipment distribution ceremony organized by the Sports Department in Kurukshetra on Monday. Earlier, the Vice President distributed sports equipment to village Beant, Bir Pipli, Dhanaura Jatan, Dodla village panchayats and provided 11 sports equipment at a cost of Rs. 45 lakh to the sarpanches and representatives of 111 villages.
While congratulating and wishing the 111 sarpanches and representatives who received sports awards of Ladwa Vidhan Sabha, he said that Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini works day and night for the development works of Ladwa constituency. His vision is that the youth of Ladwa constituency should stay away from evils like drugs and move forward towards sports.
He said that recently, Chief Minister Naib Singh Saini has inaugurated the sports stadium of Dhanaura Jatan, built at a cost of Rs. 2 crore 73 lakh. High-level sports facilities will be provided to the players in this sports stadium. The government is trying to strengthen the infrastructure of sports at the village level and bring out the sports talents of the villages.
He said that while building a healthy and strong Haryana, the government has done commendable and commendable work in the field of sports. The government believes that sports are an integral part of life. It should not be considered just a means of entertainment. Sports alone create a sense of discipline in a person's life.
The Vice President said that wrestlers, kabaddi, hockey, and wrestling players prepared in the soil of Haryana are making their name known at the international level. The government believes that it is necessary for the development of the state for the youth to be healthy. These youth will remain healthy only when they join sports. Now Chief Minister Nice Singh Saini has made 11 types of sports equipment available as per the demand of the village panchayat of Ladwa Vidhanabhasa. All the youth should use this equipment properly, play well and bring glory to the state.
