Calgary (Canada), January 4 - The monthly meeting of North Calgary Seniors Society was held in the open hall of Livingston Community Centre. State Immigration Minister Yasin Muhammad was the chief guest. In the beginning, tribute was paid to former Prime Minister of India Dr. Manmohan Singh. Patron Kulwant Rai Sharma welcomed Minister Yasin Muhammad and new members. Dr. Arjan Ghuman said that exercise helps prevent many types of cancer. He also gave information about various methods of exercise.
Paramjit Singh Bhanghu of Shivalik TV paid tribute to the martyrs by reciting Jaimal Padda's poem 'Haq Sach Diya Rahiya Teri Reet Na Bhulai'. Sukhmander Gill created a musical atmosphere by presenting the ghazal 'Tu jo nahi to kuch bhi nahi hai' and Heer's Kalam.
