MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa inaugurates development works worth Rs. 74.61 lakh in schools of villages Dahar, Magra, Jalalpur and Lehli.

Lalru (Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar), May 23, 2025- MLA Kuljit Singh Randhawa said here today that the Punjab Government led by Chief Minister S. Bhagwant Singh Mann is taking the education sector of the state to new heights. Under the “Punjab Education Revolution” launched by the Punjab Government, the development works done in government schools are being dedicated to the public and other upcoming works are being started. Today, development works worth Rs. 74.61 lakh were dedicated to the students in schools of four villages under his constituency Lalru in Derabassi.

Under the “Punjab Education Revolution” launched by the Punjab Government, the development works done in government schools are being dedicated to the public and other upcoming works are being started. Today, development works worth Rs. 74.61 lakh were dedicated to the students in schools of four villages under his constituency Lalru in Derabassi.
In this series, MLA Derabassi Kuljit Singh Randhawa inaugurated the works (two smart classrooms, boundary wall and others) done at the cost of Rs 33.46 lakh in the government primary and middle school of village Dahar, inaugurated the works (one smart classroom, boundary wall and others) done at the cost of Rs 20.39 lakh in the government primary school of village Jalalpur, inaugurated the works (one smart classroom, boundary wall and others) done at the cost of Rs 11.21 lakh in the government primary school of village Lahli and later dedicated the works (one smart classroom) done at the cost of Rs 9.55 lakh in the government primary school of village Lahli to the students. MLA Derabassi Kuljit Singh Randhawa said that teachers should consider their duty as worship and not duty, so that the future of the students can be bright. He said that one day everyone will be interested in taking admission in government schools. He said that by converting government schools into Schools of Eminence, the government has taken such an initiative through which children from common households are being provided education through modern methods on the lines of private schools.
MLA Randhawa said that for the first time in the country, to improve the level of education, the Aam Aadmi Party government sent principals and teachers of government schools abroad to get information about the quality and methods of education, so that the self-confidence of the students of Punjab can be increased and they can achieve success. The constituency MLA said that the government's aim is that more and more children should take admission in government schools and take advantage of the valuable experience of government school teachers and the good infrastructure of government schools.
He said that the campaign for comprehensive reform in the education sector can be successful only when parents and teachers continue to give full cooperation. On this occasion, teachers of these schools, students, their parents, village Panch Sarpanch and other dignitaries were present.
