Patiala, May 22 - Additional District Magistrate Madam Kanchan, in exercise of powers conferred under Section 144 of the Code of Criminal Procedure, 1973, has banned drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, remote controlled micro light aircraft, armed personnel para-gliders in Patiala district. Orders have been issued to impose a complete ban on any event (wedding or other event), para-motor, balloons.
These orders will remain in force till May 24. The order states that keeping in mind the security of VVIPs, drones, unmanned aerial vehicles, remote controlled micro light aircraft, armed personnel para-gliders, para-motors, balloons will not be allowed at any event (wedding or other event). It is necessary to impose a complete ban on flying etc. in Patiala district.
