SAS Nagar Mohali: In order to provide facilities equal to those of private schools to the students of government schools, MLA Kulwant Singh on Saturday started bus transport service for the students of School of Eminence located in Phase 11 of Mohali.
He said that as per the thinking of Punjab Chief Minister Bhagwant Singh Mann, the Punjab government has given priority to further improve and strengthen the health and education sectors. He said that Aam Aadmi Clinic and School of Eminence are the result of the people-friendly policies and sincere efforts of the Punjab government from which lakhs of people are benefiting. He said that the government is working tirelessly for the welfare of the people and the infrastructure and other needs are being taken care of very well.
He said that with the bus service started from Phase 11 SOE today, the number of buses provided for the transportation facility of the students of 7 Schools of Eminence in the district has increased to 11. He said that this bus will pick and drop students from villages Machli Kala, Chadiala, Bharatpur, Saneta, Shampur, Sukhgarh, Gobindgarh, Raipur, Mauli Baidwan and Kumbhra to SOE, Phase 11, Mohali. He said that the fare of the bus will be nominal as 80 percent will be borne by the government.
He appreciated the efforts made by Principal Lavish Chawla and DEO (Secondary) Dr. Ginni Duggal. He assured all possible help to strengthen the infrastructure of education in Mohali.
He also spoke to the students who have availed the facility of bus transport today. He assured them of good infrastructure and education at par with private schools and wished them a bright future.
