Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 21: In order to maintain law and order in the district, District Magistrate Smt. Komal Mittal, in exercise of powers vested in her under Section 163, Chapter 11 of the Indian Civil Protection Act, 2023 (46 of 2023), has imposed a complete ban on public display of weapons in Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. 
Along with this, there will also be a complete ban on songs glorifying weapons or violence. Apart from this, there will be a complete ban on carrying and displaying weapons in public gatherings, religious places, wedding parties or other functions and a ban on making hate speeches against any community will also remain in force.
The District Magistrate said that if anyone is found violating these orders, general and specific, then appropriate legal action will be taken against him.
These orders will be in force from 11 April 2025 to 10 June 2025.
