Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, April 21: Mrs. Komal Mittal, District Magistrate Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar, in exercise of the powers vested in her under Section 163, Chapter 11 of the Indian Civil Protection Act, 2023 (46 of 2023), has issued orders prohibiting climbing on and holding dharnas/rallies around government/private buildings, blocking roads etc. within the limits of District Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar. These orders will be in force from 11 April 2025 to 10 June 2025.
It is worth mentioning here that Senior Superintendent of Police Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar brought to the notice of District Magistrate SAS Nagar that various employee unions, unemployed etc. unions/federations are staging protests by climbing on various water tanks, telephone towers and other government/private buildings of the district and blocking roads etc. in order to press for their demands. 
The concerned protesters also put their lives in danger and the law and order situation may also be disrupted. These orders have been issued to stop such actions.
