Nawanshahr - In view of the Lok Sabha elections today, a flag march was taken out by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and SSP Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr Mehtab Singh by District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar police and BSF jawans. Giving information in this regard, District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that a flag march has been taken out by police and BSF personnel in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
Nawanshahr - In view of the Lok Sabha elections today, a flag march was taken out by District Election Officer-cum-Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa and SSP Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar Dr Mehtab Singh by District Shaheed Bhagat Singh Nagar police and BSF jawans. Giving information in this regard, District Election Officer cum Deputy Commissioner Navjot Pal Singh Randhawa said that a flag march has been taken out by police and BSF personnel in view of the Lok Sabha elections.
He said that this flag march started from the district administration Kalpax Nawanshahr and passed through different areas of the city. He said that adequate security arrangements have been made by the police administration regarding the Lok Sabha elections and peace and tranquility will be maintained in the city during the elections and no anti-social elements will be allowed to raise their heads. He appealed to the people to exercise their vote without any fear or pressure and make democracy stronger. He further said that if a voter wants to get any information regarding the Lok Sabha elections, they can register their complaint on toll free helpline number 1950 including NVSP (National Voter Service Portal).
On this occasion, SSP Dr. Mehtab Singh said that security arrangements are being made at all levels to complete the upcoming elections 2024 with fairness and peace, which are also being continuously monitored so that the arrangements are in accordance with the Election Commission of India. As per instructions can be ensured. He said that during the Lok Sabha elections, people should use their vote without any fear or pressure and should also cooperate with the police administration.
