
Twin sisters of Sant Ishar Singh Public School have brought pride to the school and the country abroad by winning gold medals in international dance competition.
SAS Nagar, August 28 Students Tanisha and Tanya (ninth standard) of Sant Ishar Singh Public School Phase-7 have won gold medals in the World Dance Festival held in South Korea. More than 20 countries participated in this championship.

More than 20 countries participated in this championship. Tanya and Tanisha, 13-year-old twin sisters from Tricity, were selected to represent North India at a dance festival organized by the International Dance Organization (IDO), South Korea. These twin girls have brightened the name of not only the Tricity, but also the school and the country. School Manager Pawandeep Kaur Gill and Principal Mrs. Inderjit Kaur Sandhu said that Tanya and Tanisha have won two gold medals in the Modern Contemporary and Folklore categories and the school is proud of the girls. Sharing their experiences, the twin sisters said that it is natural to feel nervous when international level artists perform in front of us, but our teachers always told us to believe in ourselves and our skills, which we did on stage. He said that over the years, he had built confidence by consistently participating in various competitions and reality shows and winning at various levels which served him well.
