
Mock drill organized in Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur to deal with crisis situation.
Hoshiarpur- As per the order of the government, a mock drill was conducted today in Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur under the leadership of Senior Medical Officer Incharge Civil Hospital Hoshiarpur Dr. Swati Shinhmar to save the district residents from any crisis situation and untoward incident and information regarding rescue in case of crisis was given.

Talking about this, Dr. Swati said that as per the order of the government, this exercise has been conducted to train the hospital staff to save the district residents in case of any kind of untoward incident or crisis. She said that this is just a practice process which has been done to check the efficiency. She said that the district residents do not need to be afraid or panic in any way. The hospital has made adequate arrangements to deal with any situation. Dr. Swati asked the district residents to strictly follow the instructions of the government and administration.
She said that if any crisis arises then there is no need to panic. When the siren sounds, the general public is expected to leave high-rise buildings and go to the ground or underground bunkers as soon as they hear it. If they do not have a roof over their head, they should lie down under a tree or in the open.
People living inside buildings should stay away from windows, especially glass windows. Meanwhile, they should keep their gas and electricity connections turned off. He said that during this time, pedestrians or vehicles moving on the road should immediately give way to emergency vehicles, which may include fire engines or ambulances.
