
Commandos given Civil Defense First Aid CPR training.
Patiala- Following the orders of the Deputy Commissioner Patiala, under the leadership of Punjab Home Guard Civil Defense District Commander Gurlavdeep Singh, training is being given to the students, citizens and employees of the district on civil defense, first aid, CPR, care of injured, fire safety, protection from gases and smoke during wars and saving precious lives at a war level.

In this regard, Government of India's Disaster Management Civil Defense First Aid Trainer and Platoon Commander Tarvinder Singh reached Punjab Police Commando Training Center Bahadurgarh to train about 100 commandos.
The commandos were told that in case of accidents and seizures, respiratory function and heartbeat stop, oxygen and glucose supply to the brain stops for a few minutes and excessive bleeding due to foreign object getting stuck in the throat, the victims die within a few minutes. He conducted a practical and said that in case of unconsciousness, injury, heart attack or epilepsy, the rescued victims from gases, smoke, water, should be kept lying on a ventilator or in recovery position. DSP Shri Hardeep Singh Badungar while expressing his gratitude said that in case of emergency traffic accidents, wars, epidemics and disasters, only first aid, CPR and related methods given immediately at the scene of the incident prove to be helpful in saving precious lives.
He said that do not believe in rumors, contact the control room for accurate information. Instead of picking up unwanted items, toys, fallen mobile purses, boxes, complete information should be given immediately to the control room or 112.
