Hoshiarpur: Sarpanch Davinder Kaur, wife of renowned social worker contractor Unkar Singh of Gram Panchayat Ranyala Shahpur Block Bhunga (Hoshiarpur) took the first step towards serving humanity by blessing a girl from a needy family of her village by giving financial help of Rs. 5100 in her marriage.
She wished for a happy life for that girl. The girl's parents thanked the Sarpanch wholeheartedly for this initiative. On this occasion, besides Sarpanch Davinder Kaur and contractor Unkar Singh, Panchayat members Seetal Singh, Kuldeep Kaur, Rashpal Singh, Naseeb Singh, Hoshiar Singh, Joga Singh and Rajinder Singh (Chulangi) were present.
Sarpanch Davinder Kaur said that such initiatives will continue from her side for the needy of the village. Smart needy children will also get help in studies.
