S.A.S. Nagar, 5th May 2025- Keeping the birth anniversary of Red Cross founder Jean Henry Dunant in mind, the District Red Cross Society under the leadership of Deputy Commissioner, Mrs. Komal Mittal, on the occasion of World Red Cross Day, a voluntary blood donation drive is being organized at the District Administrative Complex, Sector-76, Sahibzada Ajit Singh Nagar on 8th May 2025 with the support of the team of Civil Hospital, Phase 6 Mohali and NGOs.
Giving this information, Assistant Commissioner-cum-Unpaid Secretary, District Red Cross Branch Dr. Ankita Kansal appealed to the people of Mohali to participate in this camp in large numbers regarding blood donation.
He said that the service of blood donation is a great and noble donation for the welfare of humanity, through which many precious lives can be saved. There is a need to make it a people's movement because blood can be collected only by donating.
