Hoshiarpur- Under the guidelines of the Director of Language Department Punjab, Urdu Amod classes are going to start from 3 July 2025 in the District Language Office Hoshiarpur. Giving information in this regard, District Language Officer Jaspreet Kaur and Research Officer Dr. Jaswant Rai said that Urdu is a very lovely language. It is very important to learn Urdu language to get detailed information about Punjabi language and literature.
Although all Punjabi literature in West Punjab is being written in Shahmukhi script, but students there are also being given knowledge of Gurmukhi script. It is very important to have knowledge of both these scripts for the exchange of literature. There are very capable PH Urdu teachers to teach Urdu language in the Language Department Office. The fee for this entire six-month course is only Rs 500.
After the completion of this course, the Language Department Punjab takes its paper and the students who pass are given certificates by the Language Department Punjab. Students of any age group can take admission in this course.
