Una, December 26- Team Una Blood Service (NGO) and MRC Group in collaboration with ISBT Bus Adda Una organised a blood donation camp to commemorate the first death anniversary of late Lucky Daroch. Deputy Commissioner Una Jatin Lal attended the blood donation camp as the chief guest. 95 units of blood were collected in the blood donation camp.
Deputy Commissioner Jatin Lal appreciated the work being done by the Blood Service Team for humanity. The Blood Service Team is continuously working in the field of blood donation, which is commendable. He said that every person should donate blood. Blood donation can give life to someone. He said that the main objective of organizing blood donation and awareness camps is to motivate as many people as possible to donate blood so that a person's precious life can be saved when needed. 
He said that donating blood improves the health of the heart. The chances of heart attack are reduced to a great extent by donating blood because blood clots do not form due to blood donation. This makes the blood thinner and the risk of heart attack is averted. Not only this, donating blood also reduces weight. The Deputy Commissioner appealed to the youth to actively participate in blood donation camps so that a helpless person can be helped.
