SAS Mohali- Today, Arya Samaj Kharar organized a special "Mahila Aryathon" dedicated to International Women's Day under the leadership of Stree Arya Samaj President Sapna Sharma. Information about this event was given through a press note issued by Arya Samaj Kharar Press Secretary Shri Rohit Mishra.
This special women's race was organized from Shri Ram Bhawan, Kharar to Jamuna Apartment, Kharar, which was flagged off by Smt. Jaspreet Kaur Longia, President of Nagar Kaushal Kharar. The competition was organized in four age categories:
1. 15 to 25 years
o First Place: Vaishnavi Kumari
o Second Place: Ramandeep Kaur
o Third Place: Naina Kashyap
2. 25 to 35 years
o First Place: Dr. Manu
o Second Place: Sonam Bagga
o Third Place: Kiran
3. 35 to 50 years
o First Place: Kavita Upadhyay
o Second Place: Rekha Goyal
o Third Place: Ramandeep Kaur
4. Above 50 years
o First Place: Aarti Garg
o Second Place: Pravesh Bharti
o Third Place: Vijayalakshmi
In this special women's Aryathon, 95-year-old Mataji Taravati also participated, who was the oldest participant. Honoring her unmatched energy and passion, Arya Samaj gave her a special award.
Apart from this, Santvana Awards were given to Gurcharan Kaur, Kamlesh Mehta, Harbansh Kaur, Kanta Singla, Indu Bala, Saroj Bala and Sunita Rana.
The event was graced by the presence of special guests including Arya Samaj Kharar President Vikas Garg, Vishwa Bandhu Arya, D.S.P. Karnail Singh, Pooja Garg, Poonam Singla, Ravinder Khanna, Vineet (Bittu) Jain, Pankaj Chadha, Tilak Raj, Saurabh Gupta, Vinod Rawat, Jatinder Gupta, Arvind Kanthwal, Aman Garg, Arun Jindal, Amit Kalia, Sahil Garg, Mahesh Chaudhary and the team of Jamuna Apartment were present.
