21 February Nawanshahr- Additional Chief Election Officer Punjab Harish Nayyar visited Nawanshahr today. During this, he held a meeting with the senior officials of the district to appoint booth level agents at all the polling stations of the three assembly constituencies of the district.
He directed that a meeting should be held with all the political parties of the district and they should be asked to appoint booth level agents in their respective areas. He also directed that SVEEP activities should be continued for the awareness of the general public. Apart from this, he also inspected the warehouse built at the district level to keep the voting machines and gave necessary guidelines to the officials.
On this occasion, Additional Deputy Commissioner (G) Rajiv Verma, Additional Deputy Commissioner (Development) Avneet Kaur, SDM Nawanshahr Dr. Akshita Gupta, Election Tehsildar Palwinder Singh, Election Kanungo Daljit Singh and other officials were present.
